Like many industries, the fire equipment industry has been experiencing delays in their supply chain. Heiman Fire provides equipment from many trusted manufacturers. Many items are shipped direct to customers from the manufacturer and does not provide Heiman Fire to guarantee shipping dates.

STANDARD SHIPPING FEES

For U.S. Domestic Shipments Only


STANDARD DELIVERY:

  1. In-stock items typically ship out of our warehouse within 2-4 business days. Custom items may take 3 to 6 weeks or more. Some items may ship directly to you from our vendor partners. Shipping estimates do not include transit time.
  2. Heiman wants to ensure that your products arrive on time and in good shape. UPS Ground delivery is used for all orders. 

    This requires a physical street address, not a P.O. Box.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS:

Heiman Fire Equipment strives to maintain a large inventory to ensure quick delivery. However, you can expect an extended delivery date if merchandise ships directly from the manufacturer, if personalization is requested, or if a product is on back order from the manufacturer. We will do our best to quickly notify you of any shipping delays.

NOTE: Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico will incur an additional charge of $24.99. Customer service will notify you with a final freight quote for your approval.

OVERSIZE/HEAVY ITEMS:

Depending on the weight and dimensions of a product or quantity of products, additional shipping charges may apply (including, but not limited to: ladders, pike poles over 8', foam, fire hose, fire extinguishers, full size light bars, etc...). If the actual shipping charges differ greatly from the stated shipping charges, one of our representatives will contact you for approval. Where this is usually the case with a product on Heimanfire.com, we have noted it accordingly. HAZMAT FEES:

Hazardous material handling charges will be added to aerosol-type items and chemical fire extinguishers.

INTERNATIONAL SALES:

Heiman Fire does not sell or ship internationally at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

SHIPPING POLICY:

Any extra charge incurred for additional services, such as Purchaser's carrier or special handling at the destination, must be paid by consignee. Title and risk of loss to pass to Purchaser on delivery to the common carrier. If product was damaged or lost in transit, recipient must file claim with carrier. These rates are based on one parcel per order to a Continental United States address only. Additional parcels may require extra shipping charges which will be disclosed during order processing. Any additional charges must be approved by you before we will complete the processing of your order.

DIFFERENT SHIPPING/BILLING ADDRESSES:

If you are ordering with credit card, you are welcome to ship your order to an address that is not the same as your billing address. For your protection, when we receive an order where the shipping address does not match the billing address on your credit card, we will contact the card holder's issuing bank for address verification. One of our order analysts may contact you if we can't verify your information. For smoother and faster transactions, one suggestion we often make to customers is to notify your bank that you will be shipping an order to an address that is not the same as your billing address.
