The WATERAX BB-4 is a high-pressure centrifugal pump that has been used by forest agencies for over 40 years. It has become the weapon of choice in wildland operations. The BB-4 pairs a 4-stage centrifugal pump end with your choice of Honda, Briggs & Stratton or Kubota diesel engine. Now integrating the "Hot Swap" technology to allow users to field replace their entire pump quickly and with minimal tools with the purchase of the quick replacement pump end kit.
A unique feature of the BB-4® pump is the quick-release pump head that is interchangeable with the MARK-3®. This greatly reduces spare part inventories and allows for quick infield swap outs.
The BB-4®-18V is configured for vehicle mounting with an 18 HP Briggs & Stratton engine, vertical-drive unit, FastWire cable with 8-pin connector.
