Dry Hydrant and Water
Delivery System
Heiman Fire Equipment has all the
complex elements needed for a fire department to construct a dry hydrant water system at
an affordable price. Each dry hydrant kit is complete with a 6" Schedule 40 PVC elbow
with a threaded adapter attached by glue, cone shaped suction strainer, snap ring and
aluminum cap or plug. The underwater Strainer and clamps are sold separately. The
underground PVC and elbow are not included. These can be found locally so you save money
on shipping charges. The underwater strainer is designed with 700 1/2" holes for
maximum flow and features a back flushing cover which allows for easy removal of debris.
